Dr Kurian obtained a Degree in Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at the PSG Institute of medical science that follow the tradition of the United Kingdom, in 1994. He conducted a Post graduated from Medical University of Sofia Bulgaria in 2003, in Masters in Radio Diagnosis. Dr Kurian worked in India in private hospitals and in Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS – University hospital) for 3 years before relocating to Ghana in 2011, where he has been working at Sunshine Diagnostic centre, as Head Radiologist, for the last 10 years.
