Dr Y. Dei-Adomakoh received her MBBS from the University of Maiduguri, Nigeria. She has over twenty years of medical practice as a hematologist in both clinical and laboratory aspects. Dr Dei-Adomakoh manages patients with hematological malignancies such as leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, deep vein thrombosis as well as hematological diseases such as sickle cell disease (SCD) and other hemolytic anemias. In addition to her work with Euracare, Dr. Dei-Adomakoh is the Director of the Haematology Department at the Ghana Institute of Clinical Genetics (Adult Sickle Cell Clinic) and Head of Haematology at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital. She is also a lecturer of Haematology at the School of Biomedical Sciences and Allied Health College of Health Sciences. Dr Dei-Adomakoh is a member of multiple professional organizations, including the Ghana Medical Association, the West African College of Physicians, American Society of Haematology. Dr Yvonne A. Dei-Adomakoh is head of Haematology in Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.
