Our 3-month-old patient with a heart failure secondary to a vein of Galen aneurysm malformation (a rare brain disorder) was successfully embolized here at Euracare today. A team of 8 doctors led by Dr B. D. Sarkodie (Euracare’s Medical Director and Interventional Radiologist) did the first of this procedure in Ghana and West Africa.
